High School Mischief
Part1

"You idiots!"

The three delinquents who stood side by side winced as the shrill shout of the student council vice president went through them.

Well, two of them winced; the other was finding it kind of difficult, as he was to busy trying to get his face away from the damp handkerchief his boyfriend was repeatedly attempting to clean the dirt off his face with.

The boys were standing in front of a bunch of lined-up tan desks in an empty classroom. The curtains were half closed to block the strong sun, but the room still felt very warm. Classes where still going on, luckily, so they didn't have to worry about being discovered out of class.

Yet.

"Mikado!" Towa spluttered as part of the handkerchief accidentally went in his mouth, "I'm okay! Really, you can stop already!"

Mikado Shirahane, the dark-haired and often serious yet expressionless president of the student council pulled back slightly only to say, "I won't stop until I know for certain that you are okay, Towa."

Towa Aikawa quickly grabbed Mikado's wrist before he could start to try and clean him up again. "I'm fine, really! No one was hurt! We're all fine! It was just a bit of smoke was all!"

"A bit of smoke?!" Shuji Yukimura, the hot-tempered, red-headed vice president, repeated in utter disbelief. He pushed his thin black-framed glasses more firmly up his nose, trying to contain his growing temper… and losing that control rapidly. He had been holding back the urge to throttle the three morons-- er, delinquents since he and Mikado had stumbled on them at the scene of the crime. "A bit of smoke…" he repeated again in disgust as he looked from one soot-covered teen to another.

Ryuichi Shinonome and Yuu Kashiwagi looked each other over. (Towa was being to busy being 'groomed' to notice as, Mikado had gotten his hand free again.)

Even they had to admit it was a little more serious than just 'a bit of smoke'. Only their different heights and body forms (Shinonome's tall and muscular, Yuu's small and almost feminine, and Towa's in between the two, being middle-sized and slender) made it possible to distinguish one grubby first-year teen from another.

All three delinquents where covered from head to foot in soot. No colour apart from their eyes was visible. Even their hair was covered.

"It will all come off!" Shinonome, the tallest and most laid back of the delinquents, said optimistically. "And the science room will too!"

"And the corridor…" Yuu muttered sarcastically under his breath, yelping suddenly when he got a quick stomp on his slim foot from Shinonome when the tall delinquent  caught the glare of the vice president from the corner of his eye.

"Oh really?" Yukimura stepped closer to his extremely aggravating… um… friend? Neighbour? Assistant? Pain in the ass?

He still refused to use the word 'boyfriend' when referring to Shinonome, no matter how strongly the red head felt for the tall but annoying first-year.

"Yeah really! Don't worry Yuki-chan, everything will be okay, you will see." Shinonome said confidently, gazing down at his lover.

"Everything will be okay?" Yukimura crept closer, his head starting to ache as his temper surged. "It will be okay…" He shook his head slightly, laughing softly before grabbing hold of the neck of Shinonome's blackened cardigan and roughly pulled him forward and down slightly until they were face to face.

"YOU BLEW UP THE BLOODY SCIENCE ROOM YOU STUPID BASTARD!" Yukimura practically screamed causing Shinonome's eyes to widen slightly in panic, while Towa leaned closer to Mikado (which of course Mikado didn't mind in the least), Yuu meanwhile looking on amusedly, watching the unfolding chaos in entertainment.

All he was really missing was the pop corn.

"We only smoked out the room a little bit Yuki-chan!" Shinonome half whined, his arms held out to the side in surrender.

"Yeah!" Towa jumped in coming to his friends defence. "We were only trying to work out the stupid er…thing for the homework!"

"Formula?" Mikado guessed helpfully, now on to wiping Towa's dirt-covered hands.

"Yeah! That's it! The formula!" Towa grinned up to Mikado in thanks, and Mikado returned the smile with a rare one of his own, causing Towa to blush (Mikado had cleaned enough of Towa's face for the redness to come through) before the 'usually' blonde-haired delinquent turned back with a scowl to the angry red head who was across from him,

"It's the teachers fault for not explaining it to us!"

"And has nothing to do with us skipping most of the class" Yuu grinned wickedly and unashamedly when everyone turned to look at him briefly.

"Morons…" Yukimura growled under his breath. His head was starting to hurt he was so wound up. He tightened his hold on Shinonome's cardigan as he turned back to him.

"I've warned you before about missing classes! And as for the smoke, the whole corridor is no longer visible, the smoke is that thick! AND! You managed to completely blacken and burn one of the science desks! It could be used for a damned black-board now, it's so dark!"

"Well at least it can be recycled then, right Yuki-chan?" Shinonome said smiling presently down at his furious boyfriend.

"Um," Towa murmured nervously to Mikado, "shouldn't you do something, Mikado?" Towa worryingly watched the vice president try to strangle his tall friend… (and he appeared to be doing quite a good job of it too…) while laying into Shinonome about how disgraceful it was for a member of the student council to try and blow up a classroom.

"Why?" Mikado asked, curious. "If they kill each other, it will safe me trouble in the future." It was well known to those in the room that the only person Mikado ever worried about or showed interest in was his adorable Towa.

"Yeaaaah…" drawled out Yuu from is place on the abandoned table that he had perched himself on top of. "But you would have even less time to mess around-- er, sorry," he apologised insincerely, glancing from Mikado to Towa and back again. "Spend time with Towa without the demon's help over there," he pointed over to Yukimura who was finally easing up slightly on Shinonome while he listened, "and without Shinonome to… help? (read: seduce) four-eyes, you would get continually pestered by Mr. Vice President to get your backside back to the student council." Yuu shifted his position on the desk-top, getting more comfy while getting some grime out from under his nails. "I don't care either way, but I will be damned if I am going to listen to Towa moan about how little time you get to see each other," he finished, rolling his eyes dramatically.

While Towa frowned over to his friend, Mikado glared menacingly at the petite delinquent before sighing and turning his softened gaze back to Towa, who was staring back at Mikado with wide eyes.

'Damn he's so cute,' Mikado thought to himself before turning reluctantly to Yukimura. "As much as I wouldn't mind you choking him, Yuki, it's probably better not to right now…" Mikado seemed quite depressed as he said this. "And we still have more important things to worry about right now…"

Yukimura had already (though reluctantly) released Shinonome, though he was seriously thinking of hurting him again as the tall (and possibly suicidal) first year had somehow managed to worm his arms around his lover's slender body until Shinonome was basically cuddling his own adorable (and murderous)Yuki-chan.

Yukimura elbowed Shinonome sharply in the stomach, making him let go (Yukimura wasn't comfortable at all with public displays of affection… or even private ones for that matter…) before addressing Mikado with, "What important things exactly?"

"Stopping Towa and those two from being expelled."

At the mixed wide eyed-stares, Mikado sighed, and after giving Towa an affectionate hair ruffle, he explained, "They caused a lot of damage in the classroom and the corridor with their little experiment. I don't think the school would look kindly at having to pay to get the damage repaired. And I doubt that the school would go easy if they discover it was the three well-known first-year delinquents that did the damage… however accidentally. Don't worry though," Mikado reassured, as he caught sight of Towa's panicked expression. Mikado put his arm around Towa, not caring about the soot, and pulled him closer before he continued. "Only Yuki and I know that you three were responsible for the accident. You're lucky we were near and got you to this other classroom quickly before anyone else saw you."

Yukimura snorted. "Lucky? Look at them! As soon as they leave this room, they're going to be seen! They will never get home, washed, and changed without someone seeing! And that's if someone isn't looking for them already!" Yukimura's voice had risen again as worry (and of course anger) set in. As much as he would shout, threaten, and smack Shinonome, he didn't want him to be expelled either.

Everyone looked at one another for a moment, the three soot-covered and smoke-drenched delinquents and the president and vice president of the student council.

They could all get into serious trouble for this.

The delinquents for causing it, and the council members for knowing and trying to hide it.

The bell suddenly rang, signalling the end of one class and the start of another. It wouldn't be long until the damaged classroom would be discovered and so too maybe the classroom they were all hiding in at the moment.

Mikado suddenly drew in a deep breath and smiled secretly. "I have a idea."

Towa looked up with a relieved and almost worshipful expression while the others looked wary and thought the exact same thought:
